Welcome to Drumfire RecordsDrumfire's very first releases were the four fantastic albums by Darts: their three studio albums recorded for Magnet Records between 1977 and 1979, plus their outstanding first 'Best Of' collection released originally by Magnet/K-Tel in 1978 - The Amazing Darts. The new packages of these albums, in stand-alone form on CD for the first time ever, were released in May 2011. More details can be found on the Darts page including tracklistings. There is a Darts (Drumfire) Facebook page and all albums can be bought from our store. There is a special deal for buying all four at once - check it out.
DRMFR005 was released on July 25th, 2011. Tom T. Hall is one of the finest story-telling songwriters ever, and after decades recording and writing he effectively retired a number of years ago. Still very much involved in music locally and in particular with the Bluegrass musicians that surround him, Tom T. and his wife Miss Dixie created for their own pleasure an album released on their own label 'Blue Circle Records' in the USA only. Drumfire is delighted to have secured agreement with Tom T. and Miss Dixie to fully repackage this record for a fresh new release in the UK and Europe. A fantastic record the Halls are justifiably hugely proud of. Following this Drumfire is also proud to be associated with the British singer/songwriter Michael Weston King and his latest project My Darling Clementine. My Darling Clementine is a country duets album - Micheal and his partner Lou Dalgleish. Great sleeve photographs conjure up ad evoke memories of the classic Country duet partnerhsips of year gone by..... That's DRMFR006. |
